We thank God for bringing us to the new year. Every believer in Christ needs to receive vision from God for this year, readily write the vision, read the vision prayerfully and run to fulfill the vision.
God created you for a divine purpose that no one else can fulfill. He has a special assignment for your life, which you were designed to complete. Have you taken the time to discover what that is?
You may think you’re waiting on God, but God is waiting on you. He asked the prophet Jeremiah, “What do you see?” He asks you the same question today. What do you see for the new year? What is your vision for your life? In other words, what do you dream about accomplishing? (Jer 1:11)
There will be so many distractions this year, no doubt. Don’t allow any of them to hinder you to fully fulfill the vision God has given to you. This is not the year for frivolity but the year to be faithful to the call of God. The end is nearer than when we first believed.
Make up your mind to give your best to the Jesus Christ, our Lord and Master this year. What vision has God given you? Time must not be wasted. Start the fulfillment immediately. Remember that time waits for know man.
Whatever vision God has given to you must revolve around soul winning and divine services. The world must be told that Jesus died and rose to redeem them through your conscious and unconscious daily activities. Don’t just have vision for pleasure, have vision to preach the gospel to the perishing world by whatever means available to you.
Here are a few ways we can all step closer to His vision for us:
- Spend time alone with the Lord : Set up a space for the Lord where you can talk to Him openly.
- Speak His promises out loud-literally
- Be accountable to the Lord in your ways.
- Receive the vision on your knees
- Run with the vision to do exploit for God in this new year.
If you find yourself feeling less than passionate about fulfilling God’s divine agenda and providing services of eternal value today, perhaps you are not living the life God created you for. But you do have the power to choose, and that’s exactly what God wants you to do. Choose the life He has for you. Lord, I choose the life in Christ Jesus. Give me the grace to live for your vision, in the name of Jesus. What is your decision?
(Hab 2:2).
Shalom!
